Our Environment
Our environment has been designed with thoughtfulness keeping the children in mind to ensure that it is conducive for learning and assures freedom of movement without compromising on safety and security.Infrastructure
FAME India extends its services to the beneficiaries in a 4 storied building and is connected to each floor with an elevator which can accommodate three wheelchairs at a time. The entrance of the buiding has a ramp for easy accessability. All the floors have railings to make mobility easier and safer for children.
- The toilets are user-friendly, with adaptations such as low level toilet seats, health faucets, anti skid tiles, railings on all the sides and so on.
- The classrooms have wide doors and lot of space for wheelchair maneuver. Classrooms have their own built-in cupboards.
- Furniture for the use of students are customized to suit the needs of the student. Individual wheelchairs are provided for in house mobility.
- Kitchen facility is provided not only to provide nutritious food for the students but also for training the students in culinary skills. Functional academics related to kitchen activities such as identification and reading of the names of provisions, measurement, weighing are taught in the appropriate environment.
- FAME India has two user friendly buses for pick up and drop of students.
- Play ground for the children with play equipments such as slide, swing, sensory park
- Conference hall which can accommodate 100 delegates
